Roman brings a multidisciplinary investment perspective informed by deep curiosity and understanding across an array of different asset classes and investment stages – from venture capital and private equity to public markets, growth equity, credit and macroeconomic themes. This broad lens allows him to synthesize diverse signals and develop differentiated theses.

At Manvest, he is engaged in deal execution, valuation and portfolio management efforts. His responsibilities include financial modelling, market and competitive analysis and active engagement with founders, boards and management teams.

Prior to joining Mancal, Roman worked in investment banking at Fort Capital Partners, advising mid-market companies on growth financings and private placements across technology, cleantech and industrials. Earlier in his career, he held credit and commercial banking roles at CIBC and TD, supporting private businesses with lending and structuring solutions.

Roman holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
